Ethiopia is going to have a new woman president
The Ethiopian president, Mulatu Teshome served as Ethiopia’s president after to Girma Woldegiorgis, in the ruling time of EPRDF. And President Mulatu presented his resign letter as announced by Ethiopian News Agency. Following this, it is expected that the new President of Ethiopia will be appointed to the House of Peoples’ Representatives and the House of Federation.

Ambassador Sahlework Zewde is among those who have been nominated for various appointments in the new Ethiopian presidency.
Ambassador Sahlework Zewde served as United Nations Deputy Director-General in the United Nations Office in Nairobi and was the Special Representative of the United Nations General Secretariat in the African Union. Some news sources also point out that this week, however, she has issued a letter of resignation from his current employer’s office for the new presidential trip.

The ambassador was born and raised in Addis Ababa and has two children. The ambassador speaks English, French, and English fluently. After graduating from Lycee Gebremariam, she attended the University of Montpelier, France, to study their natural science.
