Ethiopian 11th National Flag Day was celebrated
The Ethiopian 11th National Flag Day is being celebrated in the yearly basis, on the first Monday of every October.
The day of the flag is celebrated in the House of Peoples’ Representatives today, by the motto: “Our Flag for a Democratic Solidarity”.
The Ethiopian 11th National Flag Day is being celebrated with panel discussions and other programs at public offices, federal institutions, schools, and other places. President Dr. Mulatu Teshome, who spoke during the event in the council, said: “The flag is a stamp of our democratic unity, which we founded by our goodwill.”
“Our flag is a symbol of victory in our people’s history,” he said, adding that there has been doing various activities at the government level to bring the “flag” back to the globe. The government has also made the transition with the answer to the question of fairness of the citizens.
President Dr. Mulatu said all Ethiopians should stand together for the rule of law. The government is determined to continue the transformation process, the president said. The ceremony was also organized on the floor of the council.
